Only good for Ipod, (What's this?) This is a good idea. However you don't get what on the ads, this is not made for Iphone. It works good with ipod only.

Interferes with radio reception, (What's this?) Despite claims to the contrary this product is not optimized for use with an iPhone. The phone displays a warning when plugged into the device and causes considerable static on the high quality Bose radio it is connected to. When the Bose is in the radio mode the accessory cable must be disconnected to stop static. Same results with both a 3g and a 4S. Very annoying and outweighs the fact that the device performs as advertised otherwise.
Cheap, simple, works!, (What's this?) Bought this for $25. Came quickly and works well. I used to have a Kensington that I used with my iPod and it was great, but it would not charge my 3G iPhone. Once I upgraded to the 4GS, I wanted to leave my iPhone at the stereo all the time, so wanted it to be able to charge. Although a message pops up that it is not compatible with my device, it charged anyway and the sound is great. Much better than using the headphone jack. The only reason it did not get 5 stars is because of the fact it does indicate that it is compatible and the remote is not so great (expected). I like the black color better than the white Kensington.
Works fine, just a bit difficult to engage ipod, (What's this?) charges my ipod touch fine, sound quality to hifi system is good, only negative is that I often struggle to slot the ipod into the connector.
tuned in, (What's this?) Very affordable and a great dock station; only hold back is the remote that comes with it only works within about 4 feet of the base. Would recommend though to anyone just based on the price and the ability charge and connect your ipod to a home theatre system or any stereo.
charging station works, but remote sucks, bought the dock for both the charging station and for the ability to control the ipod from across the room and the remote only works from about 2 feet from the ipod itself. returned it...
Average, (What's this?) This product is functional. The connection between the ipod and dock is poor. The ipod needs to be seated just right to work.
Good Product, Great customer service!, (What's this?) I will start by telling you that I like this product, but I LOVE the customer service.
The product came quickly and was packaged nicely. There were no instructions included, but thankfully it is a really straightforward installation. The sound quality is great, and the unit has a quality feel to it. My one issue was that the remote control did not work with my iPhone 4. After contacting the company, I had a C.S. rep. call me back right away, and then someone from their tech. dept. followed up later that same day. They sent me a new remote, which arrived two days later, and that remote did work. The only caveat is that the remote has a pretty short range, so don't think that it will work from across the room because it probably won't. Also, if you have a phone or iPod with a larger case, you may have to take it off before it will fit into the dock. 4 stars only because of the short range.
I would have no problem recommending this unit to anyone.
